About this event

Catch the driving, heavy basslines of David “Daveydread” Turano as he takes the stage at Caf Bar at the Wilcox this Friday, November 13 .

As the founder and bassist of Rhode Island’s premier reggae, ska, and rock-steady powerhouse Soulshot, Daveydread brings decades of authentic Jamaican rhythms and deep South County musical heritage to an intimate local setting. Expect a soulful, grooving evening of roots reggae and infectious bass melodies that will perfectly set your weekend vibe.

Live music every Friday. All year long. Check our events calendar for weekly performers and details. Whether it's a summer night on the patio or a cozy winter evening inside, Fridays are better at the Wilcox! ✨
