Hey everyone! Well sadly Halloween is officially in the rearview mirror. Mariah Carey has awoken from her slumber and before we know it the holidays will be in full swing. We figured people may still be a little partied out from Halloween even though it's been a couple weeks and thought it may be a good weekend to do something a little more relaxed than a bar night. Let's check out the Providence Flea's indoor market before the holiday rush sets in then grab a drink at Buttonwoods Brewery (there's also ISCO for cocktails).

TLDR: Indoor artisan/craft market inside Farm Fresh RI. Vendors will be selling a range of products from art to food. There's also Farm Fresh RI's permanent storefronts that may be open. Meet near New Harvest Coffee Roasters for a coffee (alcohol available but cannot leave cafe area). Will stay at cafe to allow late comers to find the group - may also serve as a regroup spot for people who become separated. After we'll get drinks at Buttonwoods Brewery (hard seltzer available in addition to beer) and possibly Industrious Spirit Company (ISCO) next door.

The Providence Flea has been around for awhile at this point, so I'm guessing many of us may already know about them. However, this market isn't vendors selling dusty old junk they pulled out of their grandparent's basement. The PVD Flea is more of an artisan market/craft fair with vendors selling everything from handmade trinkets and art to food. They have a little bit of everything. The PVD Flea can typically be found in District Park beside the Pedestrian Bridge in the warmer months, but they set up shop at Farm Fresh RI around the holidays. It may be a little on the smaller side than their outdoor markets, but don't worry there's plenty to see. Plus Farm Fresh RI does have a few permanent storefronts that will also likely be open people can check out.

Let's meet at New Harvest Coffee Roasters. They serve up some fantastic coffee, with beans being roasted literally steps away from the register. They also have a limited bar if you'd rather enjoy something stronger instead. Just an FYI alcoholic drinks cannot leave New Harvest, but non alcoholic drinks are perfectly fine to take out while you shop so long as it's in a to go cup. We'll hang at the cafe for a little bit (likely around half and hour to forty-give minutes ) to chat and give people time to find the group. Then we'll check out the market. We'll use New Harvest as a regroup spot once people are done browsing.

After we finish shopping, Buttonwoods is next door for a beer (their website shows a few hard seltzers available as well if you're not a beer person). There's also Screaming Unicorn Kitchen if you're hungry. Check out the link below for their menu.

Industrious Spirit Company is also an option after Buttonwoods. That one is more weather dependent. They have a great patio area fairly well sheltered from rain, but if it's cold their indoor space is limited. We'll also include a link to their website just incase.

Parking should be hopefully be manageable since this isn't a special event and we're well ahead of the holiday rush, but it may still be smart to budget some extra time to find a spot just to be safe. Farm Fresh RI has some lot space, but there's also street parking in the area around the complex if that fills up.
