  • Newport and Middletown councils hold their second joint meeting on school regionalization today at 5:30 p.m. in the Wyndham Hotel’s Easton’s Pavilion Ballroom (240 Aquidneck Ave). The councils will update discussion with Rhode Island Department of Education officials and may engage a consultant for the proposal.  What's Up Newp

  • Maya Ferris dominated the gymnastics meet on Saturday at Middletown YMCA & qualified for state in all four events with a 35.2 score. Several other Middletown gymnasts also earned individual spots for state competition.  What's Up Newp
