- ➤ Newport’s Brenton Point State Park will soon see the renewal of its neglected Japanese Garden to honor Japanese culture, history and aesthetics. The project plans to plant cherry trees and host cultural events while creating a nonprofit to share the city’s ties with Japan. Newport This Week
- ➤ Hayley Williams & Friends will perform on Friday, July 24 at Fort Adams State Park as the first act for the Newport Folk Festival's 67th year. Tickets sold out seconds on Wednesday, adding to the excitement for this summer event. What's Up Newp
