  • Jamestown Windmill, a 1787 landmark maintained by the Jamestown Historical Society, offers tours with hands-on exhibits on wind-powered grain grinding every Friday–Sunday from May 22 through Oct. 12, 2026. Windmill Day on July 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. features games, food trucks and live music at the site.  The Newport Daily News
