- ➤ Newport Hospital’s Frederick Henry Prince Memorial Fund awarded $188,500 to 31 Aquidneck Island youth programs to support initiatives for physical activity, education & healthy choices. Local trainer Jess Gaes is giving his time—Bo will help officers connect with residents at community events and school visits while he also trains to detect explosives once certified—adding a new tool to the department's community policing efforts.
