- ➤ Rhode Island state beaches allow overnight stays only with permits, and many town beaches restrict sleeping on the sand outside daylight hours. - ➤ Crews are replacing the seven joints on the westbound spans of the Jamestown-Verrazzano Bridge; traffic is limited to one lane + drivers are asked to slow to 25 mph and expect delays. WJAR NBC 10
