- ➤ Hasbro, a toy company founded in 1923, is moving its East Coast headquarters from Pawtucket to Boston and will finish the transfer by the end of 2026—shifting at least 700 employees to its new seven-floor office at 400 Summer St. in the Seaport District. - ➤ St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church is hosting two 'Return to Camelot' presentations on Friday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to mark the 72nd anniversary of John F. - ➤ Newport launched a free curbside composting pilot program Tuesday in partnership with 11th Hour Racing, Eastern Rhode Island Conservation District and Black Earth Compost. The two-year program runs from Oct. 5 to Oct. 2 and gives 1,500 eligible residents free weekly compost collection with a bin starter kit and compost instructions — participants receive a free cubic foot bag of finished compost each spring. - ➤ Former CVS executive Helena Foulkes launched her second campaign for governor yesterday at Roger Williams Park Casino—she blamed Gov. McKee for rising living costs and government mismanagement that hurt Rhode Islanders. She promised to triple housing production, ban lobbyist donations, and restore transit funding as she challenged the incumbent, who she said failed to address the state’s needs.
