- ➤ Aquidneck Community Table will host its inaugural Seed to Soul party on Oct. 26 at Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown from 3 to 6 p.m., bringing together local farmers, chefs and neighbors for tastings, live music and yard games. - ➤ The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Newport will begin in-person registration for its Holiday Help programs on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 20 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Blvd.—Registration is held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Thanksgiving assistance closing on November 14 and Christmas meal help and Santa’s Workshop registration ending on December 12.
