Newport County will host a variety of Halloween events this week including trunk or treat gatherings at shops, costume parties at historic sites and family-friendly sessions at parks and police stations.

Adults can also enjoy haunted tours, live readings and themed parties from Oct. 25 to Oct. 31 (event details vary by location).
