  • Localz Burger & Cocktails in Tiverton reopened on November 5 with a pared down menu focused on smashburgers, tacos and hot dogs at 4 Stafford Road+ chef Tyler Botelho said miscommunication led to the brief closure and that orders are now prepared quickly. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Preserve the Glen Coalition wrote a letter urging the town council to post all meeting minutes and agenda details for the disc golf decision made on November 21 at Glen Park so residents were fully informed.   • On Friday, the Rhode Island Public Interest Research Group Education Fund and Hasbro Children's Hospital discussed the 40th 'Trouble in Toyland' report, warning that fidget magnet toys, water beads, and the AI-powered Kumma teddy bear can cause serious harm if swallowed or misused.
