  • Newport Classical named Oliver Inteeworn as its new Executive Director. He will begin on Jan. 5 and plans to expand immersive chamber music programming (including a Chamber Series concert featuring cellist Jonathan Swensen on Jan. 23) to engage the community.  The Newport Daily News

  • The Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy graduated a new class of 50 officers from 23 municipal departments on Friday at the Community College of Rhode Island’s Flanagan Campus Field House, marking its 145th graduation.  WJAR NBC 10
