Newport Saint Patrick’s Day parade will begin staging at 9 a.m. at City Hall and kick off at 11 a.m. today, following a route that goes along Broadway, then south on Thames Street, and ends at Saint Augustin Church on Carroll Avenue.

Parking bans from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. and bus detours for routes 60, 63 and 67 are in effect—affecting travel on key streets.
