- ➤ 290 participants ran and walked in the second annual Charlie Holder, Sr. Memorial 5K on May 17, raising $20,000 for the Newport County YMCA and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center — each received $10,000 as a tribute to Mr. Holder, who passed away on August 6, 2023.
