GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Developers of the Middletown Town Center project seek Town Council approval for a zoning overlay that would allow mixed uses — hotel, bank, retail and apartments — while residents oppose relocating Pottsy Field. Town Council will hold hearings on Sept 16 and Sept 30 at 6 p.m. in Middletown High School’s cafetorium to decide if the approval will let design and engineering plans begin. The Newport Daily News
